High, considering the sleeve is already done. Check WWW.DSFacts.com for trusted DS surgeons.

I'd recommend calling some of the DS surgeons known for doing revisions and getting other quotes. This won't be cheap no matter where you go, but yes, that does seem high.

Many of tne surgeons in Mexico, even the very best and most reputable are way less than that for adding the switch to an already existing sleeve . Gl

At current exchange rates my revision cost ~$15,500.  Expensive considering you can get a full DS in Mexico with a vetted surgeon for ~$16,000 (my price may be a little out of date).  The high cost was due to getting through the scar tissue of the sleeve, but $40K sounds a lot.

Yes, that sounds way too high---and I wouldn't use Dr. Barker for FREE.

yeah, I am not fond of Barker. I know some people who like him though. I felt like he ran an assembly line so I switched surgeons.

The cost for my revision (re-did my sleeve, converted me to a DS, and removed gallbladder) through Dr. Stewart was $26,450. That included the fee for his services ($13,800) and the rest was for the hospital fees.
