Finally made it to the single digit days before surgery. 9 days!!!! I'm so excited and nervous to join all of you in this life change.

I had my final pre-op yesterday and everything is good for surgery. They did a lab draw and will have the results on Monday so I will know if anything needs to be changed before surgery.

I'm down 21 pounds since I weighed in at my first appointment with my surgeon on June 5th. 6 pounds of it since Monday when I started my pre-op diet.

Sounds like you are ready. The pre-op weight loss is a good sign for post-op results. At least those are the stats my Doc kept on telling me. It will be over before you know it. Heal quick.

Best of luck! I just had mine this past Tuesday and came home yesterday so I'm not far ahead of you. Mine's gone really well so far. Don't get discouraged if you gain weight in the hospital - you will be on drips all the time. The advice I've received is stay away from the scale and just focus on drinking and walking. Good luck!
