Vitalady vitamins and diarrhea
I am taking almost all of my vitamins from Vitalady, I can't take the irons yet, they make me throw up. Since I been getting taking all of my vitamins, I'll wake up in the middle of the night with the worst diarrhea. This lasts for about an hour. Is this my body adjusting to all of the new vitamins I'm taking? If so how long does this go on for because it is horrible?
Never heard of vitamins causing it. It did take a few months for my system to get through to the next morning without fail. Try dropping the zinc and see if that may be an issue. Oh, wait. Just remembered one person *****acted that way to the dry magnesium citrate. Try stopping that one too.

I am not sure what the "middle of the night" refers to, but it was a shocker to me after my DS, how early my bowels starting working. Sometimes at 5 am, I would start to feel that urge. If I switched positions (moved), it would get worse. I would so want to sleep in later and the best I could do was to not move and try to delay the inevitable.
Now, that daily urge hits me every morning around six a.m....earlier if I purposely have to wake earlier. These seems to be the norm for most DSers. The days of sleeping in are over.
Because you are only a month out, I would guess that the diarrhea is caused by what you are eating. Its about this time when a lot of us find we are lactose intolerant (it goes away for most of us). Avoid sugar alcohols, eat cleanly, etc. All those "rules" are not just good for your weight loss; they are good for how you feel overall.
Oh, and at three months, I had a terrible experience with a certain brand of protein powder (was it Champion?). Your body has been thru a lot and will likely keep challenging you for a while! Good luck!
When I was new, I did have reactions to the Vitalady vitamins. I can take them all without reactions now. When I first started taking them, there was something in every packet that had me running for one end or the other.
I went through each packet and mapped out what pills caused which reactions. It took me a day to go through a packet, take a pill, wait 2 hours, then take the next pill. I was able to find the ones that were causing the problems.
Oh, and it wasn't until I was 4 or 5 months out that I stopped having the reactions/sensitivities to vitamins/drugs. It just gradually lessened over time till now I take a handful of pills several times a day.
I did fight the diarrhea for months. I tried upping my iron and calcium, stopping the magnesium and zinc, changing my food choices, eliminating caffeine, on and on - and none of it really stopped the diarrhea I was having every day. Till I read multiple posts about Probiotics. I tried them recently, and it has made the world of difference for me. If nothing else helps, you can always try this route.
I ended up being whey intolerant after surgery and all my shakes had whey, switched to egg white protein shakes and it helped. I also couldn't do any sugar free - eliminated, SF jello, pudding, crystal light etc.
If the diarrhea keeps up, you may want to try chia seeds. They worked great for several of us.
