Doc says dumping syndrome

I went for my 2 month check up today and the doc said that I definitely have dumping syndrome. I have had 3 episodes thus far. If I have sugar, milk or candy I get very sick. All 3 episodes have been with liquids but I'm not willing to experiment with solids. He said that dumping can happen to dsers. In some ways I'm glad because candy has always been a weakness of mine and now I have zero desire to even try it. At least I know I wasn't crazy and I was dumping and it is a horrific experience.

I agrees dumping syndrome is painful and I get it to. Though I am not certain that is what is happening, I don't have all the symptoms(spelling), but the  pain is real and I hurt for hours.

Yes, dumping can happen to anyone. The good news is that it well may go completely away as you heal. Any sort of stomach surgery makes it more likely, especially during the healing phase. You may also be lactose intolerance, which may also go away as you heal.

Wow, sorry to hear that you are having to deal with this, but the good thing is, is that you are turning a negative into a positive in the way you are choosing to make it work for you ......KUDOS!  Thats the way to git er done!

At 2 months out you probably shouldn't be experimenting with sugar or candy.  Things change over time.  I had lactose intolerance initially and some horrible diarrhea from bread but it got 100x better after about 9 months.
