What is the recipe for protein coffee?
Here's mine:
Protein Coffee
brew a pot of your favorite coffee - we like chocolate raspberry (you can also brew chai tea and use in place of coffee)
In a 20 oz blender bottle with wire ball, add 2 oz of heavy whipping cream and 2 oz of cool water, or 4 oz of half & half, a packet of Truvia or Splenda, a couple of dashes of cinnamon, and a heaping scoop of Syntrax Nectar vanilla protein powder.
Shake about 5 seconds to blend
Pour the protein slurry into a huge mug and fill to the top with coffee
Sir to blend and enjoy!
If you are watching your fat grams, substitute unsweetened soy or skim milk.
Always add hot liquid to cold protein slurry to keep the protein from clumping.
Always check the ingredients of a protein powder before you buy it to ensure the first ingredient listed is whey protein isolate. Don't trust the splashy label on the front.

I don't know about mocha mix but you can definitely do Syntrax cappuccino with water or Lactaid milk.

Here's my favorite recipe- I'm lactose intolerant, too, but I handle heavy cream and half and half just fine. Actually, the lower the fat content in dairy, the higher the sugar (lactose) content. I can drink whole milk without any issues, but 2% or below...forget it! My milk is also mixed with plain whey protein isolate in the shakes...isolate has most of the lactose processed out, and that's why it's more expensive than straight whey, which I have not been able to tolerate.
Corrie’s Decaf Hazelnut Iced Coffee Nutrition Shake
Combine in 20oz or 28 oz Blender Bottle :
- 6 oz Whole Milk
- 6 oz cold, strong Decaf Hazelnut coffee
- 1T heavy cream
- 2 scoops Now Sports 100% Whey Protein Isolate Powder, unflavored
- Splenda (or preferred sweetener) to taste
- 3-4 large ice cubes
Directions: After combining all ingredients, securely screw lid onto Blender Bottle, make sure drinking spout is securely fastened. Shake until powder is completely dissolved and blended into liquid. Pop open drinking spout, insert straw, if desired. Drink. This can be done in an electric blender, to produce a frappe-style drink, or, the bottle can be placed in the freezer and allowed to partially freeze, then shaken, to produce the same effect.
