Is there a difference between liquid and fine crystal form?  I was checking out a site with low carbs items and it listed an item carbs as very low with liquid and high with solid form.  Sorry if I am an idiot but I thought they we both zero carbs..................

Thanks for any responses

My understanding is the baking crystal is a mix of Splenda and sugar. The little packets have a couple carbs per but they might be sugar alcohols that you don't have to count.

Splenda has a liquid form, a powder (both are the same). And then they also have one that is a half & half...half splenda and half sugar since many items that are baked do NOT handle splenda by itself well at all...some baked goods require sugar not sweetener.

The two regular powdered forms of splenda (bulk & packets) do not list a significant amount of carbs (less than 1 gram per tsp so it says zero).

The Blends (sugar/splenda and brown sugar/splenda) are designed FOR baking and do have enough carbs to be listed.

Thank you it was on Linda's menus or something like that which listed recipe and there were 2 nutrition values one with crystals I assume and the second was list as liquid splenda and had less carbs.

I read somewhere that the liquid was a little less in carbs than packets. I also read that a little packet of Splenda is .5 carbs. I've been counting them that way in my food diary.
