Beautiful day here again.  I've spent the day reading more of Robb Wolf's Paleo diet book still not really got to the main part but it's doing a good job of selling Paleo to me and reminding me how evil carbs are (even now it's hard to over write what WW taught me).

Paleo is pretty cool. It takes more than I'm willing to devote to grocery shopping and cooking but I love the concept and do what I can. I won't give up my Greek yogurt and protein shakes but I like the idea of eating grass fed beef without all the antibiotics and hormones.

Excellent Bites today!

I hope everyone is enjoying there Sunday, and the nice weather

Nov. 14/2005 I have reached the 10 year mark and I am very glad I had this surgery and can live a normal life.

Yeah!! You survived the grandkids!

Good luck with the job in August. We're thinking my son will be working for temp agency soon too. Nothing coming through for him otherwise. Fingers crossed!

Hi everyone! I tried almonds and pistachios over the weekend and am thrilled to have no I'll side effects from them. Of course, I chewed them to mush but the initial crunch was so nice.

BITES (weight loss mode):
B - iced protein coffee (30g)
L - chicken noodles w/o noodles (12g)
S - Isopure drink sipped throughout the day (40g)
D - chicken noodles again (12g)
S - 2 DS peanut butter cookies (6g)
S - pistachios (6g)

That's 106g protein, 29g fat and 32g carbs. Wow! I even impressed myself today. But it was only about 805 calories.

VITES:
One more batch at bedtime

EXERCITES:
Laundry (in basement)
Taking out trash and recycling (again, up and down some stairs)
