Off out to the pub with DH as it's lovely and sunny here and due to get even better on the weekend - yay!!

I saw an old Vitalady post where she says she only counts the protein from shakes - in that case I only got 70g today, yikes!!  I could probably work in one more a day if it's that important, not today though as I only just read that! :-(

B Protein shake 35
B Protein shake 35
L Chicken curry 40
S Cheese 10
D Shrimp ****tail? 20

Protein: 140
F 80+
V All in (inc 6 batches of calcium) nightime iron pending, skipping strontium until I know more about the cardiac risk

Right. She tries to get at least 120 grams from shakes and it's so easy to count! I do the same thing most days. Food is extra because there's really no way to know if we absorb 50% or 20% and it's a pain to count the serving sizes, etc. Shakes are easy because the label tells you how much protein right there.  : )

hi everyone.  had my yearly visit with the surgeon's office. labs looked great!  yay me!

my only concern was at my horrific blood draw,.  i passed out and they didn't get to the frozen tubes for the zinc count.  yet, on my lab report it listed the results of zinc. how can that be?

double protein coffee

greek yogurt

double protein iced coffee

the meat only from arbys roast beef sandwich

double protein coffee

popcorn chips

entire ham steak

1 slice of heavy  buttered rye toast

planned:  my usual double protein coffee nightcap

vites:  bedtime batch pending

fluids:  100 oz by bedtime

yup, last week's blood draw was a disaster.  thought for sure when i saw the pa she was going to tell me to redo my labs.  is it zinc or d3 in the frozen tubes? what am i not remembering?
