almond bars says net 6 but it has 9 on myfitnesspal.com?

I couldn't figure out how to get net carbs on MyFitnessPal. The closest I came was getting it to list fiber and I'd subtract fiber from total carbs....still leaves sugar alcohols though.

I love carb smart. If you haven't tried it, then proceed cautiously as lactose is a common gas causer. I had issues with ice cream early out that I could control by only having tiny servings. Now, I don't have tons of ice cream, but the lactose intolerance seems to have faded.

Personally, I don't count net carbs...for me fiber AND sugar alcohol add issues to my (even now resolved) diabetes. So I count all of them.

Carb Smart has ONE less gram of carb than the same flavor in the REGULAR Breyers and NO sugar alcohols to mess with the gut. If I want ice cream, I'm going for the REAL stuff.

The idea here is not to find ways around but to put real effort in to figuring out what is truly best for you. You may be one who can handle the Carb Smart but me, I'll stick to the real Breyers.

This product would give me gas--if the craving hits, I just have full cream/fat ice cream--ONE serving.

Actually, CarbSmart is full fat ice cream. The carb lowing part is that they use fake sweetener instead of sugar (Splenda, I think).

There are other lower calorie ice creams that do have lower fat, but there is no reason to go low fat, and always proceed with caution if you see any sweetener that ends in "itol", as those can be real gas and/or diarrhea causers.
