BCN and BCBS are about the same and mine took less than a week from BCN. Hope yours goes through just as fast.

Turns out it depends on what state your insurance is based out of. I have BC/BS and my surgeon's office told me they usually take about 5-7 business days. But apparently, my BC/BS is out of Ohio or New York, so the time frame is actually 15 business days. Mine was submitted on 7/2, so I was hoping to get approval by the end of this week, but it looks like I may have to wait until 7/23. Grrrr! Haha

Good luck! Hope you hear soon!

this really depends on a number of factors....the main ones are who oversees your plan?  is it the dept of health? if so then they must follow those regs, but all that information is in your subscriber agreement....and really no one here can answer that since it is individualized by you employer on what they want to "purchase" for you (unless you get private self pay)  hope you get an answer real soon

As a precert nurse in an ins company we have a max of 15 days to process a precert.  That said unless we are slammed we never take that long.  Hope this helps.
