7 weeks out. I think I need Flagyl??? How long should I ask for it to be?

Hi, I just saw your post and saw that you think you might need Flagyl.  I would just tell you to be very careful with that, I had female problems a few years back and nobody could figure out what was wrong so they prescribed Flagyl.  Well I broke out in the worst case of hives ever!!!  I was so miserable it was horrid.  So please be careful in wanting to try that, I hope you can get help with your problem and if you have to take Flagyl I pray you don't get hives.  Good luck :)

If you're after a probiotic then Primal Defense Ultra seems to be the most frequently recommended one among DSers.  It's expensive but has higher amounts of cultures than other probiotics.

I've not tried probiotics as I've not had issues and am applying the 'if it aint broke, don't fix it' rule.

I hope you get some relief soon.

In response to your girly bits feeling like they are on fire, are you allergic to something ? New fabric softener? Detergent? Soap? Sounds like dermatitis down there or something.. 

Are you taking PPIs?  You should be taking one or two per day.  Without PPIs the acid can burn you up down there.  I was so burned up in the whole area that I wasn't totally sure if it was the female area, the butthole or what. 

Yes, Im taking one omeperozol "Prilosec" a day.  The same as what I was taking before surgery.  Sometimes I get a little breakthrough heartburn, right before Im getting ready to take my pill for the day.  So are you saying that you had the exact same symptoms as I do , and all that it was, was that you needed to take more of your ppi?  If this is right your the onley one I have found that has really had this.  I have a perscription to take to of the prilosec a day, I just never had to before to control it.  Maybe he break through heartburn is a sighn that I should try it twice a day.....  How does the acid get into your va j.j.  I wonder.  Im going to try taking two....
