Every time I eat , I have to go to the krapper ! Does this mean the food is not digesting ? How is it possible to absorb anything if its going right thru me  (diareah style only) ?

?

I'm curious, how quickly are you needing to be in the bathroom after you eat? I was thinking the same thing yesterday but then realized it's only when I eat certain foods, not the protein shakes and other liquids, just when I eat the soft foods. Then boom! I'm there within 5-10 minutes. But I still feel bloated. Can't wait to see responses. Thanks for posting!

I have to go within 10 minutes no carbs .It seems to right thru me. That why I asked.... does our food digest that fast and how do we get nourishment that way or does the good absortion work properly ?

how far out are you post op? i was like that the first 3 weeks then it just stopped. i'm 11 weeks post op and have one-two normal bowl movement in the morning. sometimes its what ur eating. you have to go thru trial and error. introduce one food at a time each day. this has been slow for me as i cant eat a lot of things yet.

When you add vites it'll probably slow way down. Iron and calcium firm things up and you'll then have to start adding fat to help you go.

Are you even eating solid food yet? How about vitamins?

Eating stimulates our bowels to move, but it's not the food you just ate that you're pooping out. Have you ever housebroken a puppy? The way you do that is to take the puppy outside immediately after he's eaten. Like a puppy, right now you've got brand new, 'baby' bowels. When they heal and become once again 'adult' bowels this will stop.

You don't crap out what you just ate. it's from a previous meal. Could be 2-3 or 4 meals back. There is no way in this world you could poop out what you just ate. It's just not possible.

The food goes through quicker then before but not that fast.

No that is not what it means. It means when you eat food and it enters your intestines to be digested and absorbed , the new food entering and moving thru your intestines pushes yesterday's food on out . Yesterday's food was already processed and is now waste.

I can attest to Kale ... I eat it and an hour later it is coming out of me.  I don't think much stays in me long.  Then again, I have a 75-80CC.

Nothing stays in me... If it does, then I know there is a problem arising...:-(
