It would be better if we knew where you were at in relation to food and vitamins. At two and half months I swing between worrying about constipation to worrying abou****ery movements.

Even if your still at all liquids I think you should be seeing some solid stool by this time. What does your Doctor say?

My Doc said to change my protien drinks (cause of milk base which is in whey and most shakes) to soy protien but does not help. No milk here about 20 g of fat and 100 g of protien a day

Do you eat anything with white/wheat flour? Generally when I eat anything with flour or dairy (which is everything) I get even more gas and diarrhea. It's so watery it sounds like pee.

Tell us what vitamins you are taking so the vets can see what is going on.

Personally, I increase my B-Complex by 1 pill a week to firm up. Some brands of Calcium binds me, other brands don't.  It's finding the brands that work for you.

Most calcium citrates (with no other minerals in it) will firm up the stools.  Some people get very constipated on these.  Look at your calcium and see if there is other stuff in it, like magnesium.

Twin Labs calciums do plug me up well.  GNC calcium does not.  I do try different brands of the same vitamins looking for the sweet spots.

I started Dr. Stewart's regimine today. Hope the calcium firms things up. I have soft poo in my watery poo...if that makes sense. TMI but my surgery was with him on June 19. I have had two soft poos withou****er but the rest are pretty much watery and VERY orange. I've only been on soft food since Wednesday so I'm hoping things will firm up as I progress on foods. If you're getting in the two protein drinks they require, that's great, but it might also be why you're still dealing with loose stools. Not sure. I only get in about half a protein drink each day, the rest is soft food around 500 calories. I'll be watching your posts to see how things go for you.

Try immodium.  Double dose if necessary.  There's nothing wrong with treating diarrhea.  But 'normal' for me is still soft.

Calcium citrate is the one you want to take, so you are doing well with that.

My surgeon didn't sell vitamins.  I shop around looking for quality vits at a good price.  And I take a lot more than you do, so I have more options to find ones that help plug me up.

Try adding B-Complex to your vitamin routine.  I do sublingual.  That seems to firm things up for me.

And I do take anti-diarrhea meds once in a while.  I swear, once it starts to get loose it just keeps going south no matter what I eat.  So I take 1 Immodium and see how that sits.  That's usually all I need.  Don't down a couple if you don't know how your body will react.  Being plugged is just as miserable as the other extreme.

Many of us DSers tend to have soft stools. Some are worse off than others.  You get used to it.
