Getting sick of protein drinks!!!!!! If I could add part of a banana think it would help. Can't have fresh fruit until July 3rd. Keep telling myself not much longer, but it seems a long way off......

Be careful, a banana has 20 or more carbs, depending on the size.  For many of us, that is our carb limit for the day!

I really like now unflavored whey protein isolate.  I can add my own sugar free flavoring and the options are endless, from fruity to coffee, to chocolate, to creamy, etc.

If you want fruit, do berries.  They tend to be lower in carbs.

The Syntrax brand of protein drinks has all kinds of fruity blends.  I've seen banana flavored ones also (Iso Pure?).

Get sugar free banana syrup or banana extract and use those instead.

I was making home made banana ice cream - just put banana and some spices in a food processor with a bit of lemon juice and freeze it for healthy ice cream - the carb count was really high for such a little bit of fake ice cream.  I was better off making real ice cream out of heavy cream so I quit that stuff.

Unjury Protein Drink.  I use the unflavored and the Chocolate Splendor.  I can add anything sugar free to the unflavored.  I also add it to my greek yogurt.
