I went looking for a protein bar and they are all so loaded with carbs. I don't want anything that might trigger diarrhea. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Definitely QUEST BARS.  I have turned so many on to these.  They are Delic and have 21g protein and low carb.

I thought Adkins bars were good. The double chocolate crunch (something like that), the coconut, and the peanut butter breakfast ones were my favorites. I don't have the carb info. though. Check out the nutrients and see if they fit your guidelines. Good luck!

I second the Atkins bars. They have several flavors (coconut is my fav), and lots of chocolate varieties for you choco-holics. I think they all taste pretty good. Just my opinion.

I love the Quest bars.

Costco has a protein bar that is OK. I am not a huge chocolate fan so maybe it is why I'm not a big fan. Brownie crunch-

NuGoSlim 16 gms protein 19 carb.  No artificial sweeteners.

I'll add my vote to the atkins bars.  I really like the peanut butter fudge granola one.  I get a variety of them on Amazon subscribe and save.  If you have 5 S & S items in your order, it's 20% off your entire order and they end up being pretty cheap!  I try to stick with the "meal" versions, since they have more protein in them compared to the other options.

Premier protein bars are a staple for me. 30 grams of protein and no sugar alcohols. I get them at Sams Club.

I really like Power Crunch bars.   They ARE a bit higher in carbs (I think 7 net) but the sugar alcohols in most other bars really bother me.   I am seven years out, and have one almost every morning.

It's only 10g, but I love Nature Valley's protein granola bars, and the sugar/carb levels are acceptable.  Those with higher amounts of protein just taste awful to me.
