When I first went to my doc back when I was 2 months post up with pain he said no it wasn't well a week later the pain went away all was well.

But at my 6 month post op check up, he found one... I had no pain. I didn't even feel it or know it was there.

Today ..I felt it ...it's a bulge and I can feel it right next to my belly button. .... I'm so worried this thing is gonna become huge

I'm not lifting stuff no more.

I do have a question.... Can I exercise... I'm trying to become more active. I'm barely losing any weight now.

You can exercise :) It's one of those things that comes along with rapid weight loss... I have one now they are going to fix when they go in to do my DS.

It's my understanding that almost everyone ends up with a hernia - and it's usually a good thing because that allows your insurance to cover  a bit of tummy surgery and panniculectomy if needed - although I heard now that the insurance companies are starting to require you to document 6 months of physician care due to rashes under your belly folds.  When they went in to do my DS, they repaired two hernias caused from a previous surgery for tumor removal and hysterectomy, and now I have another one.  I asked them - so how the heck do you prevent this from continually happening (since it's an incisional hernia) and they laughed at me and said this time they would put in a bio mesh of some sort.  And it's okay to exercise with one :)

At my last check up with my surgeon, he told me I had a hernia. Huh? I cant see it. I cant feel it. I just want it to go away so I don't have to have another surgery. My first response was, "Should I start doing some sit ups to strengthen my stomach muscles?" He said, "Oh no! That would just make it worse!"

I don't know what the resolution will be yet. Walking exercises should be fine. But I wouldn't do any exercises that try to strengthen the muscles around the hernia.

Hernias seem to always come with any surgery unfortunately.   Sometimes one gets lucky though!
