RNY to ds stint not working

If anyone out there had their leak repaired thru an operation I would love to hear details. X-ray yesterday showed
stint was working for the most part, just a tiny bit of fluid was getting thru. They will check again Monday and if the same thing is happening remove the stint. Next course is surgery to fix leak and I'm scared to death of another operation. I'm going on 7 wks in the hospital and have no idea about fixing the leak. I'd be great full for any info advice.

I'm so sorry the stent isn't working and that you continue to have problems. The only advice I can offer is to  hang in there, because really, what choice do you have?

I hope that either surgery or repositioning of the stent will help you.

Oh wow!  I just read up on what's going on with you.  Did Dr Stewart end up doing your revision Lap?  I know you have to be missing your family a great deal.  I'm having second thoughts.  I have a daughter with special needs and there is no way her dad or her step dad could take off of work that long to take care of her.  :(  If you need someone to talk to/text with, please send me an email at [email protected] and we can exchange cell numbers.  I am coming to see Dr Stewart for the first time July 2.
