Hi, I'm consulting with Dr. Brams, Lahey in Mass. Has anyone had experience with DS surgery there? Also any experiences with DS from RYN due to weight regain after 13 yrs? I did amazingly well for 8 yrs. I loved exercising and being active. I regained after a bout with clinical depression and foot injuries. Now I'm unable to lose weight without 5 hours of exercise. ( which is how I lost it from BP after the first 100. I lost 223 pounds half working my butt off so I know I can do it again) DS seems like the best option because my dieting has never been normal. I am really strict and on point but lose very slowly, genetics.... Anyone have similar experiences? Thanks all

I can't speak from personal experience with revision, but definitely there are people who have done this and been much more successful with the DS. My concern, though, is that you need a surgeon experienced with this specific type of revision, as it's the most complex and high risk bariatric surgery being done. There are only a  handful of surgeons in the USA doing it, and the one you named isn't one of them. In fact, I've never heard of him as a DS surgeon at all, and that's after over 7 years on this forum and other DS forums. So you are going to need to look elsewhere.

the closest to you would probably be Dr. Roslin in NYC. You are going to need to travel, and might as well accept that idea now.

I had a RNY to DS revision. This is very complex surgery and there are only a few surgeons in the country...the world....that do them. Research and choose carefully.

Good luck
