I will be seeing nutritionist then my surgeon in a few hours. DS in 2 weeks. Even after all the reading, I suddenly feel unprepared. I am so afraid not to ask the important questions. My life depends on my success. Any suggestions?

Just take a little list with you and remember not everything the NUT will say is for DSrs in the long term--short term only maybe.

Good luck!  : )

Most of it you have to work out after anyway. Try and get some idea about post op follow up, when are labs, who schedules them, things like that. Maybe a list of what labs they usually do to compare to some of the lists on line? You can read and study forever but you are never fully prepared because your experience will always be the same yet different. It sounds like your good to start your journey.

Best wishes.

Good luck!!  I'm sure you'll think of more questions when you're talking to the various specialists.
