I had my surgery today!

I had my surgery today and it was actually pretty smooth and seamless, was a little over 2 hours. I woke up and I was super lucky I didn't have any nausea just felt super sore. I have a 100 cc which I am pleased with, I didn't want it too small. I haven't had any nausea or headaches and I've been able to get in plenty of fluids. I'm using sippy cup and that seems to be an easy way to get the water without drinking too quickly. I built the surgery up so big in my head that I thought for sure I was going to have problems so I'm really happy with how things are going so far.

Wow, surgery today and you're already posting! What a trooper! Congratulations. I hope your recovery continues to be easy.

So happy to see your post.  You sound like you are doing really well  Have you been for a walk yet?

Yes, I have had 2 so far and using my breathing device a lot! The second walk was much easier than the first.

WOW. You are way ahead of where I was at that time. Good for you. Welcome to the DS life.

Congratulations.  You are one hell of a trooper, that's for sure!  You have a positive attitude, and that's half the battle.

I was pretty high on drugs when I made my last posting. Days 2&3 have been miserable!!!!!! I am so incredibly sore, it hurts to sit up, move etc .,.. I finally passes gas today which was a huge step forward. I have a fever of 100.3, Hopefully I'll discharging get to go home tomorrow
