Have lip balm and footwear that doesn't require you to bend over to get it on. All the best.

Bring a pillow with you to the hospital for the return ride to protect your tummy, as it will not be very fond of bouncing around in the car.

My fav was my pillow in a crazy flannel  pillow case that smelled like my fabric softner.  Smells in the hospital are so antiseptic and the pillow at Des Peres were very flat.  Bring extra under wear and stretchy pants or shorts to wear under the gown when they get u up to walk.   sugar free peppermits,  wintergreen lifesavers, toothbrush and fav Toothpast.e  your mouth will be so incredable  dry and the blue stuff you have to drink day two for you swall test is NASTY,  Get that out of your moth ASAP, blue tongue from the die.

warm socks my feet got COLD!  Brought my compression stocking from home. otherwise comb or brush they give you soaps etc to use unles syou like your own,  I like my body butter at night on my feet and legs.  Seems hospital sheets dried out my skin.

I had tuesday Dr Scott surgery day,  He usually does his DS first or right after one sleeve patient.   God Bless and Good luck He is GREAT!
