Vacations Vacations!!!
I just returned from a trip with my sisters and mom up in the Mts of Oregon and altho I had a wonderful time it was kind of a dry run for a big trip my husband and I are taking to Alaska with some friends. I found I needed more rest than I expected, I got more dehydrated than normal and because we had to eat out for most of our meals I had a hard time recognizing when I was full and experienced some discomfort for it. I am hoping it will be a little easier this time since I have someone to share my meal with instead of throwing 3/4 of it out. All in all I felt great and managed to lose 3 lbs in 4 days putting me at the 40 lb weight loss in 3 months so that makes me happy. My birthday is on Sunday- Fathers Day and my goal was to get to a 40 lb loss and I made it. I love those little milestones that are so easy to reach compared to how it used to be! I feel I have been given a new chance at having a normal life. This will be my celebration this Sunday and I am looking forward to a long and happy, healthy life thanks to my DS. Thanks for your love and support on this board!

Happy Birthday. Sounds like your doing great. The dry run was a great idea especially since it showed you how easy it might be to get dehydrated. That would spoil anyones vacation. You always see people carrying a water bottle around with them make sure you are one of them , and use it. Congrats on your milestone too. They are important.
