My hair doesnt get oily as fast as it used to...Good thing?
Ever since I was a young girl Ive always had to wash my hair everyday, it always got greasy really quick. Well for the past week Ive noticed my hair stays fluffier longer. Its really been nice. Very noticeable.. Then I realized this might be great hair wise, but probably not skin wise. This I will be paying close attention to. Im 48, and dont need to be looking older than what I am...lol. My skin was also always on the oiler side. Does this happen to everyone? Im four weeks out yesterday, and still havent lost any hair. I know alot of people say it happens at around three months out, so it will be interesting to see when it starts for me. In the past whenever Ive went on my liquid diets, it always started at two weeks out, "really quickly". Im two pounds down today, and couldnt be happier. Im starting to get over my "food is fun" attitude. To me food is work, and possibly can be painful...lol. I thought it was going to take me longer to get over the sadness I was feeling about loosing my friend "food". but those feelings really are going away. Its kind of hard to believe that "food is not so hot", and it can now take a backseat to the other, more important things in my life.....Yay

You're probably malabsorbing everything like gang busters right now and you're not getting enough fats and oils in your system. Add some real butter to your veggies. Your system will tell you when you've eaten too much. You will most likely look older and more drawn during this first year but if you keep you protein, fat and vitamins up, you should be back to where you should be by the end of the second year. It's a process.
Most of us start losing hair at 3 months and it usually stops by 9 months and the new hair should be pretty much back to normal. Again, protein, fats and vitamins. : )

My hair started dropping out at 2 months. It was coming out in handfuls, but that has stopped. I see some of it growing back in.
I've always had really oily skin and hair, and I noticed that this has changed for me also. I don't get that slick any more. The good thing is my acne is dried up, the bad thing is I am using a moisturizer for the first time in my life. I think having oily skin has been a curse and a blessing all these years. I'm glad it's gone.
The wrinkles and looking old - I'm losing the weight and everything else is sagging, so I'm not going to worry about it now. Maybe when it's all finished, and the weight stabilizes, I will get a face lift and get the jowls tightened.
