This is such an interesting post for me. I am rarely hungry at 10mo out. I overproduce acid. I take 3 PPI's now trying to heal my system. I do graze most days. On my work days, I always have a protein shake in hand...
The part of the stomach that produces the Ghrelin hormone is removed with a sleeve.
Leaving only the pancreas making that hormone.

That sounds very normal. I'm a grazer, but I find that the I get hungrier more often if I'm eating carbs. If I stick to protein, I'm satisfied longer and often forget to eat, which isn't good either. We need to keep our metabolisms up!

At nearly 8 months post op I can only eat very small amounts (1/4 to 1/2 cup of food tops) so in order to reach my protein goals, I have to eat all day long! Even if I am busy I can't go more than a couple of hours without eating something. I just have to plan ahead to have the right foods at hand. No issues with stomach acids at all.
