New hope! Plan B or Plan C

Dr. Jossart had a good reputation about five years ago for the Sleeve. (Only reason I'm saying this is I haven't been on the boards in a while to hear anything about him.)   I got the feeling that was the majority of operations he did, but I'm not 100% sure.  The LapSF website used to have a good chart comparing all of the major surgeries.  I never got the feeling that he was anti-DS, just pro-Sleeve for most.  

 

From what I remember, he was kind of strict regarding post-op diet. He hated fat.  He hated carbs.  He hated everything, pretty much. ;)  Not sure if he is as anti-fat with the DS....but as I'm sure you know, you don't choose a surgeon for the dietary advice.  Didn't get the idea that his bedside manner was the greatest... but that could just be my impression from reading other's experiences.  Still, people seemed to like him regarding surgical skills, and I can't remember one person with a negative outcome or major complication.

I hope all goes well with my insurance for the consultation. From my research I didn't see anything negative about Dr. J, so I'm sure that's a good thing. People are ALWAYS quick to post negative experiences. Im just going to interrogate and be interrogated. That way I know exactly what he is capable of... because I will be putting my life and future in his hands. Thank you all for your responses, they have been very helpful.
