New here with surgery date
Hello everyone!
My name is Rebecca, and I have been a long time lurker on this site. I am having the DS with Dr. Keshisian this Friday! I want to thank everyone on this site for the posts and responses, as I already feel the closeness of this online community, and I am just joining! I have been taking a scaled-down vitamin regimen for over 6 months (when I started my supervised diets), have been creating a DS cookbook, and am determined to stay away from the scale after surgery! Any other advice or words of wisdom would be greatly appriciated!

I'm 2 weeks out. I've done exactly what IrishNurse said plus walking around as much as my body will take. Moving help speeds recovery.
Other points on here that I've found helpful.
- Follow dr's food reintroduction. Don't ru****
- Don't try to get that one extra bite in once your full. Everyone says it will not stay down.
- Chew your food alot and take a minute or so break between bites to give your brain a chance to catch up with your stomach.
- One new food or vitamin a day. That way if something doesn't agree with you, it's easier to narrow down the culprit.
I wish you a speedy and comfortable recovery
