B: coffee and 1/2N1/2
B2:  4 raw eggs, greek yogurt, cream, vanilla ex****er protein shake (45 gms) - best shake I've ever tasted
L: low carb teriyaki chicken (left overs)
S:  protein shake, 1 scoop (30 gms)
D: baked chicken with mayo/onion/seasonings crust, cauliflower mashed potatoes
S:  scrounge up more protein left overs. 

Lately I'm hungry all the time.  It feels like I'm constantly eating.  I just keep shoveling in the protein and fats, take more iron and calcium.  The constant hunger is my body telling me something.  I wish my body could speak English....

Vits: doing OK.  The caffeine, dairy, eggs, while the sun is shining - rules of when NOT to take your iron really messes with me.  I always seem to be ingesting caffeine, dairy or eggs or one of the other multiple offenders all day long.

exer: Going to Kaiser, walking miles between departments and parking lot.  Also stresses my patience, so that counts.

Great Bites. If you wake up in the middle of the night to pee that may be a good time to take your iron.

B - Oatmeal with protein powder added (25g)

S - tuna with a little mayo and 1/2 a meat stick (15g)

L - cottage cheese, tomato, avocado and sunflower kernels (20g)

S - sunflower seeds (9g)

D - Sirloin steak (32g)

Vites - AM In, PM Pending

Exercites - Extra trips to get lots and lots and lots of water, plus extra trips to the bathroom because of it!!!  I am going to KICK this coffee habit!!!  Day One - Caffeine 0, Lisa 1!!!!!

Well, as in EVERYTHING I do in my life, I do it to excess.  When I found myself at Starbucks on Friday morning getting a Venti sf coffee and then again at lunch doing the same thing (plus having a cup or two more during the day), I figured that maybe I ought to get the behavior in check, because it just sets a bad precedent for me.  I don't so much care about the caffeine, just the addiction :)  Of course, with that being said, I am sitting here with an iced coffee as I type this.  So, basically, I suck, LOL!!!  It all goes back to that - you've got to make changes that you know you can stick with for life, and giving up all my coffee just isn't me.  So - I'm going to work, instead, on limiting myself to one a day - unless it's used as a protein conveyance!!!

Hi Gina!

Bites:

B- pot o'coffee and cream; sausage frittata and a slice of bacon

S- raw almonds and beef jerky

L- salad with mixed veggies and low fat salsa dressing; crab salad on top

S- turkey and cream cheese roll ups

D- grilled cod and a veggie side

S- maybe some yogurt and fruit or a protein shake

Vites: on target

Cites: going to do 30 mins on the elliptical and then I'm going to try a "Body Blast" class... scary but true! It sounds like boot camp or a strength and sculpt type class... but the fact that it's call body blast - yikes! wish me luck!

2 hot dogs ( no bun)

tossed garden salad w/cheese & ceasar dressing

double protein iced coffee

6 cherries

It was interesting. Did you know she couldn't find a single definitive study that says what happens to our metabolism and why for the first few years post WLS. We know that it sort of resets for at least 3 years for most of us, and she believes us, but there aren't any studies explaining it.
