Two week post op UPDATE!

I'm now two weeks out. The first 10 days were rough, but I'm feeling better everyday and pain is now minimal, unless I overdue it. I am still exhausted, but that's also improving. It feels so good to be this far out. I haven't had any problems with food and am eager to start the phase 3 diet later this week. I'm planning to start the vitamins tomorrow. That bag from vitalady looks overwhelming, but I've read your posts and will start slow.

  The best news is that I'm down 30 lbs (including 2 week preop diet) and have lost 10% of my body weight.  I'm doing the "happy dance".

It really does get easier at 3 weeks out.  From there, you start feeling better and stronger every day.

Don't over do it.  It only takes longer to get your strength back.  Take care of yourself.  Get your rest.

Sounds perfect. Think how many more opportunities you will have to do the happy dance.
