Biotin question

I am taking Biotin.  Have been for 3 months now.  My hair quit falling out after 2 months (and I'm grateful cause I noticed some sparse areas around my face)

Does Biotin make our hair grow faster?  Or does it make the hair that is coming in healthier and stronger?

If I'm not mistaken, hair and nails are pure protein - so my high protein levels are what is causing my hair to grow faster, right?

According to my hairstylist, it helps with all regrowth as well as the hair currently there - making new growth stronger.

I take 10000mcg of it.

For my hair regrowth, I am using the MoroccanOil Dry Scalp Treatment.  It does make a difference.

Yes, but you have had severe trauma to your body.  So, there is a name for it Telugen (something), which causes hair loss.

Protein in a normal person will make the hair grow back faster.  In us, I have no clue, our anatomy is different now and works differently.  We only use 50-60% of the protein we intake (*****ally knows the reality of what we use, as my Hema says, there are no studies to know for sure).

My hair and nails have been growing crazy thick, strong and long since my surgery. I get in 100-150 protein a day. WAY MORE protein than I ever did before surgery even if I am only absorbing half of that. So it is possible that it is the protein.
