I'm 7 monthsost surgery. Here in the last month my arms (especially right one) feels really sore, like after a good workout. But this soreness has not gone away. Plus I occasionally have sharp shooting pain and itching around my arm and side breast. Anyone experience this????

Have you had any extensive labs done in the past month or so? Otherwise, I'm at a loss.

Could you be sleeping on it differently? While losing weight, my sleep positions changed and I found myself sleeping on my arm. I never had any itching though.

When you say your arm aches, and you are having sharp pains in the chest area - I would go to the doctor and get your heart checked out first.  Then I would get your lymph notes in your arm pits checked out.

And if it's time for your blood work u*****thing shows up from the other 2 tests, then get your labs done and see if there is a deficiency of some sort.

Good luck.

I'm almost 2 years out, and I get that sharp shooting pain. The first few times, I contacted the DR's office. They said it is not unusual, and it will happen from time to time. I still have it come and go 2 or 3 times a month, and it will last for a few hours. I just try to sit still or lie down when possible. My right arm feels sore sometimes, as well, but I always thought maybe I was sleeping on it wrong. Never put the two together.
