I'm 3 weeks out and was wondering what your daily "menu" consists of.

What diet does your surgeon say you are to be on at this point? Soft? Solid? Pureed? I will tell you what I ate for that particular type of consistency.

Anything I could squish with a fork which means in your mouth you could chew it into puree type consistency. So.. that is actually a broad variety. However you should always eat protein first.

Cottage cheese

cannned pears and peaches

eggs, scrambled, fried or boiled

soft cheeses

canned veggies

tuna (any canned meat) I stayed away from beef but did have beef stew one time...yummy

yogurts

canned soups

etc.

Ditto what Hollykim wrote.

Cottage cheese
Hard boiled eggs
Boarshead lunch meat

Some enjoyed canned tuna and other fish sources. I hate fish and seafood. I recall others enjoying shrimp.

I added rotiserrie chicken at about three to four weeks.

Then, at around five to six, beef tenderloin.

I chewed my meat very thoroughly. Baked or fried chicken was too dry and I couldnt tolerate it for many months ****il I convinced myself that it teally was ok to eat a little skin with my chicken).

You are very close to being at a point where you will have more variety. Just keep with the protein. My meals consisted of.....chicken. No side dishes. Or steak. No side dishes. And I snacked on protein sources.
