3 weeks out today!
Hey everyone! I had my surgery 3 weeks ago and no severe complications so far. The questions that I have is that I am having trouble with always feeling like I have to go to the bathroom. I have been semi regular. Usually will go twice in the morning. However, throughout the whole day I feel pressure to go but nothing happens. Is this normal, or is there more to this? Any input would be appreciated thank you!

I am waiting to here a vetted response to this. I am 6 weeks out and still have this feeling. It is like I never quite get it all out in the morning. The rest of the day I keep my butt cheeks squished together out of fear of an accident because I feel that constant pressure. Not sure what that is.

I'm with Irish nurse- I feel the pressure and I feel like I could sit on the toilet all day and still feel like I need to accomplish more. I am always worried that I may not pass gas and it will be the real thing- especially out in public. Today I was out and about all day so had some Mexican food- just a little bean with beef and some shredded lettuce on the side which I have had before with no problems. Today it WAS a problem and I had such severe gas I didn't think I would make it home. Its 10 hours later and I still don't know if I should be on the toilet or not! I won't be doing lettuce again any time soon and it was just a few bites!(I'm off track- sorry!) I get up at 5AM every morning to go to the bathroom and go off and on until about 9AM then again before bed but feel like I need to go thru out the day too. I never feel like I am done and I am 11 weeks out.
