DS with Dr Boyce?

I'm just looking for people on OH who has had the DS with Dr Boyce as their surgeon. I had a couple questions. 

Have you had any major complications since surgery? 

I have met Dr Boyce one time at my intial consult. He seemed like a very nice surgeon and like he cares about his patient but I've read person say she had some complications and that Dr Boyce was very unhelpful and kind of rude when she tried to explain her complications. I am just worried about the complications  of the DS and was wanting to hear from Dr Boyce patients directly

I am a patient of dr Boyce and I have had nothing but positive experience with him.  He is very caring and very compassionate with his patients.  I highly recommend him.  I had my surgery on 3/04/13 and every time i have been to his office he has spent time with me addressing every question or concern i have had. I highly recommend him as a surgeon!!!

I will be having DS with Dr. Boyce on July 23.  I have only seen him once, so far, but he seems very nice.  I would very much like to connect with more of his patients.

 

 

Is this Dr. Boyce of knoxville tn area?

Yes, it is...and he's my surgeon as well.

While he is an excellent surgeon, his aftercare (LIKE most other surgeons) is RNY based not DS based.

OP has many excuses why meth is not a problem in her life, and does not listen to advice here. God help her.

I am pre op and am wondering which doctor to go to. i have already turned on paperwork for foothills weightloss specialist of maryville. wondering if anyone has heard good things about colquitt or should i change any help would be appreciated thanks

I don't know anyone who has used that facility or surgeon. But since his web site and profile do not list the DS...not surprised.

You can ALWAYS switch...your current choice does not do the DS. And while Dr. Boyce is not listed on dsfacts.com, he has done many DS surgeries.

Dr. Boyce is not on dsfacts because of his involvement with selling his own vitamin line. He's still an EXCELLENT surgeon.
