well yesterday I was officially six months postop revision from RNY to DS, 86 lbs done. approximately 62% lose so far. seen Dr G today, small hernia, he says this will be taken care of after my Weightloss slows down, May be a good thing to get rid of extra skin. scary thing is he says if I get below a certain weight ge will think about a revision to lengthen my common channel.I don't think I'll need that, too scared to even think of the pain. I like my 75cc... in the long run I know I'll need this to stop possible weight gain. failed RNY has me still so scared I'm going to fail my DS.

Yay is right. You are doing great. Worry about that stuff when you get to goal, not before. Some people have trouble but most seem able to mosify the diet to maintain a weight near their goal weight. Until then keep up the good work.

You are doing great!  Especially for a revision.  Don't even contemplate a second surgery at this point.  Just lose the weight.  Good grief!  The DS is almost always self limiting and I'm sure you have heard about the dreaded bounceback.  If you lose too much, there are always pancreatic enzymes to help you absorb more and you get to have a carbfest.

My CC is 75 and 10 years out, I wi**** was 50.
