Oil slicks
You are eating too much fat. Check the fat content of everything. If you still cant figure it out, start a whole new eating plan with just low fat proteins and start adding foods back. I could easily identify the culprit when it happened to me. (Bbq ribs, pizza, Bdubs boneless chicken wings). Needless to say, I rarely eat any of these things.
I'm with fullhousemom that some experimenting is the way to go. Cut back to just protein for a couple of days then start adding foods back.
Also, to do this you should really keep a food diary. If you already have one it would help to post what you ate on days you had trouble. That might give the vets a little more to work on.
I hope you work this out soon. Good luck.
It may not be fat in general causing this, but a particular fat, like greasy oily fat. It also may have something to do with dairy. Straight milk does some serious damage to me (but little else in the dairy dept). Doing an elimination diet exercise is your best bet.

ITA with everyone else. It could be dairy. It could also be the type of fats you are consuming or too much fat. What does it for me is when I eat out. If it is not real butter on something, it causes me horrific oil slicks! Orange gross!!! Also, which is odd... Chicken anyway causes it for me.
Remember, when you eat out, if they do not have REAL butter. DO NOT EAT IT! My surgeon's NP told me this and it's one of the few things she said that is totally correct.
