1 Month out!
Wow! I really can't believe it's been a month already!! I'm down 27lbs from the day of surgery (plus the 20lbs i lost pre op) and 47.5 inches when I did measurements last night, that's just from the first month. If you have not already done so, go measure right now, it's baffling to see where it all comes off.
I'm back to work, I stayed out 3 weeks because I could and wanted to give myself a little more time although I probably could have gone back at 2 weeks. I think the hardest part for me was getting used to sitting up strait, my insides were a little sore from sitting up and my pants pushing in on me. Luckily, at this point my pants are huge on me so I can adjust the waste band and I'm good to go.
Liquids are great, vitamins are getting easier, food has been a love hate relationship. Luckily everything new I've tried seems to be sitting well or i can tell without too much trouble when not to pu**** I've been dealing with some nausea, and a strange I guess sort of food aversion. I seem to only be able to handle food when I'm about to eat it, food for future use is a battle and forget cleaning up after cooking anything (even just dumping a paper plate). Definitely unexpected but what can I do, for now ill just keep pushing the protein and fluids and watching my body change with amazement! I'm only at a month I'm so very excited to see what comes from here.
