This surgery has shed a light on my Costco trips.  I did one tiny trip and now have enough beef, catfish, cheese and chicken thighs to last me the rest of the year.  It takes me days to re-package all that meat and fish into tiny portions.  The money I spend on the vacuum sealer bags probably exceeds the savings I got on the food.

That's just wrong on oh so many levels....

Costco is GREAT for the DSer though, isn't it??  My husband and I are going to get a deep freezer so we can buy more fish and dark meat chicken, etc.

And the fun part is the teeny, DS-portioned samples of everything, hehehe!

OMG - you should have seen the comedy at the breakfast table yesterday for me.  I'm working on-location in Chattanooga, and our last day of our week, we have a nice breakfast in the hotel.  I had three plates of food from the buffet.  Omelette, grits, sausage, a biscuit, taters and gravy, and two mini-waffles.  I laughed at what my hubby would have said if he saw that mess, for he guages how much I can eat much better than I can.
