Dr. Stewart in Texas - Please share your experience

I live about six hours from the Dallas, TX area and am considering going to Dr. Stewart for a revision (re-sleeve and add DS). The reviews online are fairly old so I'm just looking for some honest feedback on your experience with Dr. Stewart and his team. They sent me a DVD and paperwork and the office gal I spoke with was very nice. Also, I will likely be self pay.

Questions:
How long did you stay (hotel or hospital)?
How are you doing on your weight loss?
Any complications?
How has the follow up been?

Anything you want to share would be great! Thanks!

He comes highly recommended here in the forums for a reason...AWESOME surgeon. I stayed in the hospital for three days (including the day of my surgery). I had no complications at all and still have not. They are helpful. I had classes and surgery with four other people and we have kept in contact. All of them as well had no complications and a wonderful experience according to our last group discussion. I am very happy with him.

1. three days

2. 27 pounds

3. nope

4. Follow up was pretty good.

I am 4 months post op, I was self pay and had my surgery at Forrest park Frisco. I stayed in the hospital 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful staff and environment. I had a VIP suite and it was amazing, they had given that to me at no extra cost, even their "normal" rooms looked extremely nice. I stayed at a hotel for a few days after surgery since I lived much further away. I had a revision from lapband. I am 58lbs down since surgery and still loving it with no complications. As far as follow ups I did do a 3 month blood work even though they say it isnt necessary I didnt want to wait til 6 months to know if anything started dropping. I can really comment on follow up since I havent really gotten that far yet. Make sure you are committed to shakes and vits. Your taste will change greatly after surgery so dont stock up to much on any pantry food, try small amounts as you go.

Good luck
