I am having a BLAST doing yard work. Planting, putting down pine straw, pruning shrubs. I never could enjoy this before I lost the weight.
I also walked in a one mile Mother/Daughter walk for Women's Health on Saturday. BOTH my girls walked with me and it turned out to be a two mile walk. False advertising lol.
So those are a couple of things I could not have done pre-DS.

I wish I enjoyed yard work, but I just loathe it! I'm also scared of poison ivy/sumac, as I got it one year and it took probably two months for it to heal. Last year I didn't do any of the work, only supervised and still somehow got it on my knees.....
I love the look of flowers, etc, and possibly I will plant a few for the baskets on the porch. I just really wish I had more motivation.
Good for you on the walk. Now that is liberating!
