Hey everyone! I had my DS last Wednesday. The first day was a little scary i was throwing up blood and bloody foam, has this happened with anyone? They gave me some medicine that helps clot around the stomach and prevents and blood leaks. It did the trick because after that i did not throw up anymore. I stayed hydrated and tolerated the clear fluids and then the full fluids. My question is every time i lay down to sleep or take a nap my legs ache and hurt every time. I have been doing all of walking every time i have a chance, every time i wake up from resting. Is there anything else i can do?

please let your surgeon know about the leg pain if you haven't already. that can be a sign of  blood clots in the legs. i would call the on call number for the surgeon TONIGHT. blood clots are nothing to mess around with, obviously.

GL and keep us posted.
