Made Salmon patties with pork rinds today. SO good. 38 grams of protein per serving. For you noobies. Pork Rinds make good fillers and crust for your meats. Meat loaf, baked fish etc

Care to share the recipe?  I have some salmon and was thinking of making patties... would love a good DS-friendly recipe!  Thanks in advance for sharing!

One can of pink salmon - make sure you pour the whole can into the bowl, bones, skin and all

two eggs

chopped onion -how ever many you want

stir really well crushing the bones up and mixing the eggs in then add

crushed pork rinds to thicken. I never measure I just add till it thickens. Make patties. Then fry in butter or olive oil.

I guessed on the protein by what is on the can and googling other salmon patties. I am sure it is close enough. I prefer mine fried  in real butter until they are golden brown. Then I dip in ketsup and eat. Yummy! I cook a whole batch then put them in a baggie and keep in the fridge then I can reheat one in the microwave.

Thank you!  I am assuming it's about a 15oz can of salmon... am I right?  Sounds great and I will definitely try it.  I may use a remoulade or dill sauce for it rather than the ketchup.  Can't wait!

What is this 'dill sauce' you speak of?

Just rediscovered pork rinds in the last week - been using them to eat tuna salad as a dip.  My version of Surf and Turf!!
