They just aren't even close to a complete protein such as eggs and meat and whey protein isolate. They are a great source of fat though and tasty.

Can I still count them as protein? PLEASE! I got reamed by my doc because I'm only eating three meals a day... I'M TRYING but there just isn't room.. Between water, vites, and good.... Ugh.. This is much harder than I anticipated!
No,sorry, they really can't be counted as protein. mainly, because they are made of collagen, not a complete source of protein. obviously, these are made from pig skin, and skin is almost entirely made up of collagen.
collagen is great for hair and nails, but not so much for our muscles, heart, liver, lungs, etc.
