Pre op blood lab work??????? Vits or no Vits?

Im getting ready to have my pre op blood work done, 'for a frame of reference, for my Post op DS surgery three month labs"

Question is, I normaly take one multi vitamin, should I quit taking it before the labs, so I can see what my labs are without any vitamins, or since that is a normal part of my regimine should I keep taking it?

We're told hold the vitamins for 12 hours before having labs drawn. You may need to food fast too but keep drinking water as much as possible.

I want to emphasize what MajorMom said about drinking lots of water. I'm 48 and just recently found out that when one is fasting for a blood test, they can have water. Maybe that is obvious to most people, but it wasn't to me. And with all the blood they draw post-op, you want to be very very hydrated!
