As for my PS, it was relatively painless.  Dr S uses an epidural and twilight sedation.  He also does everything at one time.  I had an LBL, BL, arms, and sm thigh lift.  4 days later a full neck and face lift including upper and lower eyelids.  The facelift hurt more than all the body work.  Last Jan I had an upper body lift and didn't take any of the perocets that I took with me.  I even brought home a few of the Tramadol that Dr S gives when you go back to the hotel. 

I wanted everything done at one time and one recovery period.  I was in surgery for 12 hrs.  The PS folks that I saw here in Sac would have sent me home after surgery with a pain pump.  I was in Dr Sauceda's clinic with 24/7 nursing and Dr S stopping by daily and in touch by phone.  Once I was at the hotel, his RN came by daily to help me shower and get back into my compression garments, plus Dr S stopped by daily also.   Everything that I had done was under 18k.  That included clinic, hotel, up to $600 of my airfare, both compression garments...  I've had no complications after 3 trips to Dr Sauceda's OR.  I was off for 3 weeks with the UBL.  8 weeks for the body work 2 yrs ago.
