Thank you to all who sent out thoughts, prayers and well wishes!! I had my surgery bright and early Wednesday morning and was able to come home last night!! My surgery went "Beautifully" as Dr Bonnanni put it, and I can not say enough about Dr Bonanni and Abington Hospital as a whole. I am very grateful for all of the support and great care I received, that being said there is no place like home!!! It was so nice to be able to sleep for more than an hour at a time and wake up in my own house.

I feel like I'm doing well with pain, I definitely feel it but nothing unbearable. To be fair I did just get cut open and rearranged I may be more concerned with no pain or discomfort at all! I'm walking regularly, sipping always (my belly seems to like room temperature the best) and resting up. Tomorrow i'll be able to add in a little more to my sipping menu but until then it's sip, sip, sip, walk, sip, rest and sip for me!

Congratulations on your surgery and doing so well.  You sound like you have a great handle on things and I'm excited for you to continue on your journey.

Take good care of yourself!!

Glad you're home!  Yay!  I'm two weeks out myself, and you feel a little better every day.  Pain management and sip, sip, sip are tops, sounds like you're already there though!
