I bought some plain Greek yogurt and it still had carbs is that normal? It was really yucky. I mixed it with peanut butter and it tasted a little better...

Banded on 7/1/09,cool removed on 11/11... Switched on 2/5/13. Ticker includes 23lbs lost on preop diet...

Yes, all dairy has some carbs.  The higher the fat content, the lower the carb count will be.  I buy the full fat Fage and I think it has like 5g carbs per serving.  And yes, plain is pretty much like sour cream (I actually use it in place of sour cream), so you have to doctor it up.  I love it with sugar free honey and almonds, or a swirl of SF fruit preserves or jam, its also good mixed with ranch dip and eaten on veggies.

We use the 2% Fage Greek yogurt. We sweeten with Splenda or Truvia and add some little organic blueberries. You do have to plan for the carbs.
