Ive been researching everyday since Sept 2012.  I dont do anything so important to quickly..lol.  Im going with Dr. Aceves next month.  Very excited.  Im not nervous one bit because through so many hours of research, I feel like I know him.  Go to utube also, thats what I did.  I will tell you what "nina" told me.  Dr. Aceves is 13000., you can have Ungson schedulaledwith him for another three, Ugson by himself is 17000.  Dr. Aceves has his own reputation established, that has reashured me.  President of bariatrics, 2009 to 2011, thats onley one of them, to many to list you can check out his website for the rest to many .lol....  He was on the cover of Newsweek may of 2012.  Not that, thats everything, but it says something.  Its Newsweek for god sakes.  For me, I like his location, I have thoughrouly researched the hospital, "Alameter", very nice.  You can watch vidios of that on Utube also.  There are a few patients that go through the process of checking in and going through their surgery with Dr. Aceves on Utube.  I love Utube, I have learned so much from others that post about WLS on there.  I wish I could have the guts to do that, it really is so helpful to others.......  Ive also talked to someone on another site that had her Ds, and her husband went this last january and had his with aceves....  I love finding his patients....

I have a correction to make.  Ungson is 16000.  I just got an email from his office. 

Just to let you know I am having my sleeve done with Dr. Aceves done on May 15/13 . I like the others have done much research. My surgery is $8750.00 . Dr Aceves has done over 1500 sleeves. which is alot of sleeves. I went to my Endocronologist yesterday and he is totally on board with me seeing Dr.Aceves. I also live in Canada and am self my and I found Dr.Aceves Hospital and amount of care fare more than alot of the surgeons in the states as well as Canda. Not to many doctors do 3 leak tests.
