Just about 3 years out, scheduled for plastics- stopping by to say "Hi"

It's Bean!    Hi kid, missed ya.  I had to smile when I read this: 

The vitamins are a pain & expensive, the labwork sucks (its always such a process for me..), the gas can be horrendous (but can be VERY easily controlled), and you kinda have to plan around your normal poo schedule- but I wouldnt choose any other way!  

I would have said the same thing.

What was your injury?  foot thing or something?  poor kid.  Glad to hear you are loosing so easily. 

I need to loose a few too.  :o(

Jenny!!!!  Hi!!  I figured if its a "Real" update, I might as well be honest.  Yep, these things are mundane, and annoying, especially now that Im 3 years out and Im not losing a pound a day and this is just *normal* life now.  They are a pain, but I know they are the price I have paid for being alive and healthy today and I MUST do them- so its still worth it.  

And yep- I had grade 4 tears of all the ligaments in my foot and ankle, plus a nice broken ankle too.  I fell into a drainage ditch stepping off the fire engine on a call at night, driver parked a *liiiitle* too close...  Not fun :(  Im still rehabing a bit to get back full ROM, but I can at least be active again, which I missed SO much!  Being in a cast SUCKS, especially over the whole summer...  Glad thats over!

Hi Bean!!!  It is SO good to hear from you.  I had a little regain too and lost it in about 4 months.  I'm still a size 4.  I am with you 100% on everything you said except I can't afford plastics.  If I EVER come into some $ I am going to Sauceda for a complete face/neck "the works".  I wish I had done it already.

Hi Becky!  Good to see you too!!!  Sounds like you are doing great!  I never made it to a size 4.  Im an 8, with a ton of hanging skin.  Im hoping to be a 6 when Im done with plastics.  Ill be happy there, heck, Im happy here!  haha!  Good on ya for losing the regain, Im so thankful its easier with the DS.  

Plastics were definitely a "dream" of mine that I never thought Id achieve.  There are ways, and you never know when you may come into $ or find new avenues to look into.  I figure, Im finishing what I started in investing in my life and my happiness, and I cant put a price on that!  I may have to repay it for the rest of my life, but, eh.  I least I wont have the regret of not doing it, and in the end, its just money.
