Approved!!

I also posted this on the revision board, but wanted to tell everyone!!

I have been very impatiently waiting to hear from my surgeon's office on my revision from band to DS. I called my insurance company on Wednesday because the insurance coordinator said that she hadn't heard anything. They said my paperwork had been sitting in the wrong department for over 2 weeks but they backdated them to the date they were received and I should have a decision by the end of the business day on Thursday. Well, Thursday, I went out of town with my family and failed to call about it. I called them today and I am APPROVED!! I'm so excited. I called my surgeon's office and they haven't received the approval yet, but will call me to schedule as soon as they do! >>>HAPPY DANCE

Congrats! I know you are excited. I was just recently approved too so I understand the feeling!!! I hope you get your surgery date soon!!!

I have BC/BS of Florida. All the 6 mo PCP visits done and the ins company has recieved all paperwork. How long does it take for a approval for DS surgery ? I am so worried with all this Obama care could mess it all up and not get it. Can you tell me how lt took for you
