Total change! TMI about poo lol

After my DS I was one of the few people that had complications. I had a leak somewhere near my tummy that turned into an abscess TWICE! UGG! I was given so many antibiotics I was pooping yellow slime for 4 months. Finally after 2 weeks of being off my antibiotics my guts poo started to become soft and more formed. THANK YOU LORD, I thought :) Then I continued along my way with normal DS poo (lots of tan colored poo in the morning).

Then close to a year out I started getting horrible bloating pain and gas that would kill a small animal. I was just LIKE WHOA! Then I face palmed myself and realized I wasn't supplementing a probiotic. I asked the boards what they suggested and Google what to look for in good probiotics. I started using them consistently and MAN OH MAN! It has changed my digestive track for the better!

I am a firm believer in probiotics! I don't get painful bloating anymore and my gas is not as frequent plus it doesn't float around like a physical being you could run into because it was so thick. There are so many healthy things the probiotics do for you, if your not on them I would say at least give them a try and see how they change you :)

Yep.. I take a probiotic and eat yogurt.  I can almost immediately tell if I missed one or the other.

Agreed!

Even if you don't want to take yet another supplement, I always sing the praises of the wonders of yogurt.

I think I am going to try probiotics for me and my son. Both of us have IBS. I am curious if it will make a difference. My son has it so severe that it is at times debilitating and causes him to bleed a lot. He doubles over in pain. I handle mine better than he does since I have had it for half my life. Anyway, your post has me thinking maybe it would do something for us both.
